DURHAM, N.C. — Southern Coalition for Social Justice extends its deepest condolences to Common Cause and all who knew and loved Karen Hobert Flynn following her passing today.

“We were saddened to learn of the passing of Common Cause President Karen Hobert Flynn, a fierce advocate for voters and an inspiration to all who seek a more transparent, inclusive, and accountable democracy,” said Ryan Roberson, Executive Director of Southern Coalition for Social Justice. “Our hearts go out to Common Cause, who we are proud to call a coalition member and client.
