You already know we love books here on Code Switch — and given that we’re smack dab in the middle of Native American Heritage month, we thought we’d introduce you to some of our favorite recent books by Indigenous authors.
This time around we spoke to Louise Erdrich, author of The Sentence, Cherie Dimaline, author of Hunting by Stars, Angeline Boulley, author of Fire Keeper’s Daughter, and David A Robertson, author of The Barren Grounds.
We’ll be featuring interviews with the authors on the blog later this week — in the meantime, listen to this week’s ep and let us know on Twitter (we’re @nprcodeswitch) what books by Indigenous authors you’ve loved this year.
