I clipped it at the edge of my desk. And when I travel, I use it on airplane seats as a phone holder. The magnet “head” has many degrees of freedom so I can always find the best orientation to enjoy my phone.

And when it folds, you can easily put it in your pocket.

I have tried a number of “airplane phone holders”. Most work well but this is hands down my favorite.

First, this isn’t only for airplanes. I keep this with me in just about every bag I’m using. It is great at work, home, when I’m out somewhere. In fact, this has become my go to selfie stand. It is so easy to connect to any tabletop that is less than 1.25” thick. Even some restaurant tables are perfect for this. I’ve attached it at the end of the table to take a group photo.

There are three reasons why I’ve said this is my favorite:

1. The size! It is so portable. The MagSafe mount folds into this stand so it becomes so small. It is super easy to throw in my sling bag without a second thought.
2. The MagSafe magnetic is strong! I have no doubt that this would hold my phone through some turbulence on a flight – not that I want to test the theory because I don’t like turbulence. It also holds my phone on when using it the ways described above.
3. The MagSafe mount rotates 360 degrees!

Again, this is so versatile and convenient to have. It is a great gift for anyone with a newer phone who travels a lot.

Easy to give this 5 stars. I have gotten so much use out of this thing in the month I’ve had it so far. I shouldn’t be too surprised because I’ve used other products by LISEN and haven’t disliked any of them. They put thought Into their products and the quality is fantastic.

Conclusion:
I’ve never seen a phone mount like this before so I had to get it especially since I travel on a plane from time to time and watch videos or movies on my phone for short trips. I received this just after I returned from a trip so I wasn’t able to test it out on a plane’s tray, but it worked on my table. The spring is really tight so it takes a lot of force to get the clamp to open, but I suppose that’s a good thing to keep the mount in place. The magnet itself extends out and rotates, but the clamp doesn’t, so it just sticks out. Not the worst thing, but would be ideal if it was completely flat when not in use. The magnet is really strong so I have no concerns about it holding my phone since it was able to hold my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3

Not really. I think this is a unique, must-have accessory when traveling especially on plane rides so you can be hands-free to watch videos or movies on your phone. If you don’t have a case with a kickstand, then I would recommend this product.
